Fitness Motivation, keep things super simple

Monday motivation!! Congrats to CoachJPs client Santina for not only losing 1 stone so far, but also for smashing out a 16 rep push up PB!! CoachJP feels it’s important to keep things super simple when dieting, this way when things don’t progress linearly (which they probably wont), you’ll have less variables to look at and adjust.

One good way to gauge what your losing is mostly fat is your strength in the gym, and although variety can be good, try and keep some “big bang for your buck” exercises in and aim to make progress, or at least maintain your strength throughout.
You may actually find that you’ll continue to get strong if you haven’t trained this way, as you’re essentially unlocking or now gaining access to your true strength potential. Maybe you just need the right coach or training strategy to help you do this, and it could be something simple like adjusting the training set up, correction form, or motivating you to do well.

Truth be told it’s far too easy to justify switching up training or exercise selection when it gets hard, but nothing’s worth having if not we’ll earned! Watch this space for Santina’s amazing transformation!
